Today, I had a very candid chat with Rachel about relationships and it got me thinking.

What is love?

No, I'm not referring to the love you have for your closest friends or your kin. I'm talking about the love that exists between a couple.

I would very much like to believe that it evolves around unwavering committments, self-sacrifice and utmost trust.

But, if you ask me that question right now, I would say love is... a transient feeling.

Don't you agree?

There are just so many manifestations in life to support that sentiment.

Maybe, I have just yet to experience what couples term as "true love".

Oops, this is cynical me at it again. I should just shut up.
